BIG NEWS BIG NEWS...
Well, they said it couldn't be done, but it is done. IT IS DONE.
"Waiting On Your Love"--a product of 2 years of hard labour in studios all around town--is now available for consumption at home. With 11 tracks clocking in at 48 minutes, "Waiting" features horns (including David Travers-Smith, Sarah McElcheran, and Ralph Carney of Tom Waits fame) and Hammond a'plenty (Denis Keldie), as well as dreamy fiddles, peppy mandolin, and lots of surprises for ears that enjoy candy.
The release took place Tuesday Nov 14 at Hugh's Room. Justin Brown did a great opening set, and the band (Chris Gartner on bass, Rob Greenway on drums, Denis Keldie on organ) and I did a two hour set. Video was rolling, and audio was captured by Brett. Look for a DVD release in late Fall.
Please feel free to order copies for yourself and for friends. They'll make unique gifts that are unlikely to elicit "oh I already have one of these..." The new website will be up soon, but in the meatime, Paypal will accept your order (vendor e-mail is mail@noahsong.com) and cheques are cool. Lemme know if that's your method of payment and I'll let you know where to send the dough. 23 bucks in Canada, 22 US dollars in the States. CDBaby also has 'em all. Easy, quick, and bloodless...
"Waiting" (along with three other discs) is also available on itunes. Download away!
